In reality, those percentages are likely to be much higher as despite mental health being talked about more frequently and openly in recent years, there is still stigma attached to it.

Models have been carried out which illustrate businesses can achieve returns 8.6 times higher than their investment in support due to reduced presenteeism (employees being less productive at work due to illness) and absenteeism (employees missing work due to illness).
With 15 years experience in mental health, supporting individuals and groups with various diagnoses as well as general wellbeing support, I have extensive knowledge in mental health and wellbeing. I have a proven track record working in a range of settings, from large corporate businesses, charities and universities to local schools and youth services and I am able to tailor my sessions and training to meet your individual needs and ensure the very best outcome for your staff and organisation as a whole.

Bespoke Mental Wellbeing Audit
Carrying out a Mental Wellbeing Audit is a useful way to identify the areas your organisation is doing well in and the areas where more support is needed. However, some employees still find it difficult to discuss mental health and wellbeing with their employers and are more honest when speaking with an external agency.
I can work with your organisation to carry out an extensive Mental Wellbeing Audit involving employees at all levels. The audit results would be presented to you in a comprehensive report outlining the strengths of the business alongside my recommendations and suggestions of how to implement them.

Training and Coaching
Mental health training should be completed by managers on a regular basis to ensure they are in a position to safely and effectively support their employees.
My robust training and coaching programmes are more than tick-box exercises, they will empower your managers and equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to respond to the various mental health issues which may come their way.

Mindfulness at Work
Mindfulness is a scientifically proven method to improve health and wellbeing. It is the act of being fully present in every moment and accepting of the thoughts and feelings we experience.
Mindfulness is hugely beneficial in the workplace; reducing stress and absenteeism, and improving decision making, relationships, creativity and productivity.
As an accredited mindfulness teacher with the British Mindfulness Institute, I can facilitate one-off or regular mindfulness sessions with your team. Sessions should last a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1 hour for your employees to get the most from them.
1:1 Emotional Support for Employees
One of my most popular services is providing 1:1 emotional support for employees over the phone, Teams and email. This service is available both during and outside of normal business hours.
Once an employee contacts me, we will arrange a 30 minute mental wellbeing coaching session within the next 48 hours. In this session, employees can receive support with low feeling, stress and anxiety. I can act as a sounding board if they need someone to listen and can put together a support package for them if needed.
By supporting your employees with their mental and emotional wellbeing you will build a workforce which is more resilient and productive.
