Let’s talk personal growth.

I assume you’re here because you enjoy learning about personal growth, and you want to grow yourselves but it’s such a broad subject.

I recently talked about it in an IG Live and found myself reasonably passionate about it - I think there are so many of us who have forgotten how to put ourselves first. It’s something that I forgot how to do, and worked really hard to get myself back on track. But I put in the work and the results have included being less anxious, less stressed and happier.

So, let’s talk my first step to personal growth - and putting yourself first.

REST.

Yep, the art of learning more about yourself starts with stopping. It feels unnatural, to stop for a period of time and do NOTHING other than existing. When we go to the toilet we take our phones with us, when we have a sit down we watch TV. We are constantly connected to the world when we have very little connection to ourselves.

How can we learn about ourselves and grow from that place if we have no connection to ourselves?

So, my first tip is to rest. To stop. And to allow your mind to think and do it’s thing. Connect with your instincts and your gut.

The simplest things are often the hardest, so be gentle with yourself if this isn’t easy.
