Let’s talk HARD WORK.

This weeks blog is simply me putting my thoughts down on paper, with a lot of the topics I write about I do some reading up online first to make sure I share with you the great stuff. This, this is all my head.

I’ve sent 52 Saturday Sit Down emails now (in case you’ve got here via another way, the sign up to my emails is HERE), and sending them may seem like an easy task. In many ways it is, I am sending information I love talking about - and it’s simply writing things in a laptop and clicking send.

But, the mental and emotional space it takes it big, I am giving free content on a regular basis, through holidays and time away. I enjoy the work, but it is indeed work.

I grew up in a working class home, and I am proud of it. Working class thoughts mean you have to work hard for your money - and that work can’t be enjoyable. Because, it’s WORK. And in writing these, in doing my work - I have fun.

So, in sending my emails and writing the blog it is work, is the work hard? Sometimes! I need inspiration, motivation, time and ideas to flow and I need the time to write them.

In conclusion… I have no conclusion! This is just a word dump of thoughts about work, hard work, and how those ideas ruminate in my mind.

Work and career can be two different things, some people don’t want a career, but want to work - and that’s awesome. I had to have a job that fit around my children as we don’t live near any family who can help, and we can’t afford childcare.

And so now over to you - what does work, and hard work mean for you? Do you work in a place you love? Or do you work for money and not much enjoyment? Are you career driven? What does that mean to you?
